West Carroll wasted no time in preparation for next week's big game with Dakota as they rolled out of the gates to a 30-0 halftime lead over Galena.
Led by QB Kody Plattenberger who would throw for 167 yards on the night, and Jacob Dunk who rushed the ball for 91 yards, the Thunder took control of the game as they beat the Pirates 46-0 Friday night.
Galena was led by Keiran DuPlessis who finished the night with 59 yards rushing, and Mickey Lorento who went 6-17 passing for 67 yards.
