Week 9 | Stockton vs AFC
Stockton was looking for their 9th win to clinch an outright conference championship Friday night. AFC was looking for a big upset in what turned out to be a disappointing season for the Raiders that started the year with some playoff aspirations.
Looking at the stats of this game you would think it would have been a tightly contested game as Stockton finished with 440 yards of offense and AFC racked up 319 yards of offense. But, that wasn't the case as Stockton stormed out to a 40-0 lead and sealed their win with a 46-19 victory to capture their outright NUIC Upstate conference championship.
For Stockton Chad Larson had 3 carries for 79 yards with 1 TD, Dillon Hatfield scored 3 times with 2 coming on the ground and 1 through the air, and Elijah Rowe, Chase Rowe, and Aaron Dvorak all added TD runs for the Blackhawks.
Stephen Brooke finished off a stellar season with 215 yards rushing on 17 carries for the Raiders and added a TD run. David Atkinson also had a rushing TD and Tyon Davis had a fumble recovery for a score to cap the Raiders scoring.
Stockton earned the #3 seed with their win Friday night and will play host to Salt Fork on Saturday.
