Week 8 | Lena-Winslow vs East Dubuque

Lena

The Lena-Winslow Panthers were at home Friday night chasing down win number 6 to clinch a playoff berth. East Dubuque rolled into town with a 4-3 record and searching for win number 5 to become playoff eligible. Unfortunately for the Warriors they hit a Panther freight train as Le-Win was on auto pilot in a 43-0 win Friday night.

The Panthers scored early and often, led by running back Rhaveon Valentine who had 5 carries for 107 yards and 2 TD's. Payden Lingle also scored twice, once on the ground and once through the air.

The Panthers gained 286 yards on the ground, while holding East Dubuque to 64 yards of total offense.

A promising start for the Warriors that saw them at 4-1 to start the season has quickly dissolved, as they have been outscored 148-0 over their last 3 games. In order for the Warriors to make the playoffs they will need to win next week as they host EPC.
