Week 6 | Galena vs Pecatonica

The Galena Pirates played host to the Pecatonica Indians Friday night. Both teams came into the game searching for their 1st win on the season. This had the making of a good game, and it would not disappoint.
After the 1st quarter saw the game remain scoreless, the Pirates would strike in the 2nd quarter. C.J. Bauer would connect with Cameron Gelinas from 10 yards out to put the Pirates up 6-0. Later in the 2nd quarter the Pirates would find luck through the air again, this time Mickey Lorento connected with Hunter Holland to spring the Pirates to a 14-0 lead going into half time, and the score would remain the same for the final.
